Trik Turner

Shortly after recording my parts I was informed by the band’s attorney (and later the band) that I was not going to be credited as an independent writer or receive royalties as such.

This was a decision made by someone in RCA records and had something to do with the fact that the band was new (it was their debut album) and they were not going to put an album out with multiple writers listed that were not in the band… along with other financial reasons (or something like that).

The band very graciously arranged to pay me for the song and studio time and included me in the album notes under the “Trik Turner Thanks” section.
